They, will however, be required to attend the interview process.

  • Final-Year Students: Applicants currently in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree are eligible, provided they complete all final degree examinations by June 15, 2027, and expect final results by September 30, 2027.
  • Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for applying to any Master’s program.

No. There is no upper age limit for any program.

  • For regular MBA / MMS-BF: Not mandatory.
  • For Executive MBA (EMBA-BM): Minimum 3 yearsof executive work experience (or 5 years for self-employed) is required.

Yes. You can apply for multiple MBA/EMBA/MMS-BF programs using a single common application form. A single login ID and password work for all.

  • No, if the test is required (see tables above). Test registration is a prerequisite.

Note: XGMT is XIM’s own test. You do not need to pre-register for it separately—just select it in the application form.

  • XGMT(XIM General Management Test) is an online aptitude test conducted by XIM University at multiple cities such as Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Ranchi and Rourkela. Although the candidate can choose up to three cities, they must appear for the examination in the city allotted to them.
  • No separate form– just select XGMT as your test option in the application form.
  • Fee:INR 1,650/- (one-time).
  • Test Date & Time :Sunday, January 17, 2027; from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm
  • Format:MCQ-based on Quantitative Ability, Verbal & Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, General Awareness, and Emotional Quotient.
  • Submitted forms cannot be edited. However, paid applicants can add new programs or test options once through the “Program and Test” portal page by paying the additional fee. A second program addition is enabled exclusively through XGMT 2027.

    A second add-course provision is available only through XGMT-2027.

D. Selection Process (Interviews & Results)

Shortlisted candidates will be called for:

  • Group Discussion (GD)
  • Writing Ability Test (WAT)
  • Personal Interview (PI)

These may be held offline cities like Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur or Patna. Although the candidate can choose up to three cities, they must appear for the interview in the city allotted to them.

Selected/waitlisted candidates will receive an email notification. You can also check your status on the website.

  • Waitlisted candidates must accept the offer by paying a specified amount (adjustable against fees if converted, else fully refunded).
  • Movement on the waiting list will be updated periodically on the website.

Yes. Separate cut-off marks may apply for candidates who are permanent residents of Odisha.

ADMISSION

You may refer the Admission Bulletin-2026 from our website https://www.xim.edu.in/admission

There may be separate sets of cut-off marks on the XAT/CAT/GMAT/XGMT/NMAT score for the candidates who are permanent residents of the state of Odisha.

No, there is no provision to defer the admission. The conditions for accepting the admission offer will be mentioned in the offer letter.

FEES

The application fee is INR 1800/- for the first choice/option, and INR 400/- each for the subsequent options. INR 1500/- will be extra for choosing XGMT. The application fee is non-refundable in nature.

You may avail educational loans / scholar loans from nationalized banks, e.g. SBI is the leading bank providing study loans to the students of XIM University. For more details, please visit the bank branch.

Student Residences

Yes, as our MBA & MMS-BF programs are residential, hostels are compulsory for all the students. For other Post Graduate programs, Executive MBA programs & Bachelor’s degree programs, residential requirements are optional.

There are separate residences for gents and ladies. The mess is managed by a student’s committee and serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. The X-Café provides a variety of fast food to the students who work till late night. The facilities at XIM University include 24-hour internet connectivity through the latest Wi-Fi technology, laser printing and photocopying machines, multi-purpose hall, co-operative store, book club, washing machines, water coolers, geysers, telephones, televisions, uninterrupted power supply, different indoor games space, a campus doctor, nurses, 24×7 ambulance for medical emergency, CCTV surveillance, security people for safety, bank branch and ATM machines etc.
