Vice Chancellor
Dr Fr K.S. Casimir sj, a Ph.D. holder from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, brings over 33 years of distinguished leadership experience in higher education to his role as Vice Chancellor of XIM University, Bhubaneswar, a position he assumed on 5 September 2025. Prior to this, he served as the Director of XLRI Delhi-NCR campus, and various leadership roles at Loyola Institutions in Hyderabad, where he dedicated more than two and a half decades to advancing academic excellence and institutional growth.
In recognition of his long and meritorious service in the field of education, Dr Fr Casimir sj, was honoured in 2015 by the Minority Commission of the erstwhile State of Andhra Pradesh. His tenure has been marked by a deep understanding of both academic and administrative spheres, as well as a strong commitment to nurturing holistic growth in students and educators.
Renowned for his pedagogical expertise, he teaches business communication, inspiring learners to refine their communicative competence while cultivating an innate sense of purpose. At XLRI, he served as Professor in General Management of Communication for the last five years, in addition to his leadership role as Director of XLRI Delhi-NCR. His scholarly interests lie in communicative competence, servant leadership as a catalyst for organizational transformation, and the pursuit of personal and professional excellence. His leadership extends beyond the classroom, as seen in his contributions to national conferences and faculty development programs built around these themes.
After a successful five-year service at XLRI Delhi-NCR, Dr Fr Casimir sj assumed the role of Vice Chancellor of XIM University, Bhubaneswar, where he will continue his mission of advancing education, leadership, and transformation at an even larger scale.
