4th International Conference on Contemporary Issues in Economics

The School of Economics, XIM University, Bhubaneswar, is organising the 4th International Conference on Contemporary Issues in Economics on 18–19 February 2027, in collaboration with the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

The conference invites unpublished and original research papers from faculty members of colleges, universities, and other academic institutions; researchers from think tanks and policymaking bodies; and research scholars working on contemporary issues in economics. Both theoretical and empirical research papers are welcome across diverse areas, including microeconomics, macroeconomics, political economy, development economics, international trade, finance, labour economics, agricultural economics, public economics, experimental economics, environmental economics, and health economics.

Objectives of the conference:

• Providing a platform for showcasing ongoing research work and obtaining valuable feedback
• Enabling interactions to discuss emerging issues in economics
• Providing networking opportunities and collaboration for students, early career and senior researchers

Best Paper Award: Outstanding research papers submitted by doctoral students will be considered for the Best Paper Award, recognising excellence in original research and academic contribution.

The conference will also feature keynote speeches and special lectures by eminent academicians, offering participants valuable insights into contemporary economic challenges and emerging research perspectives.
