LeadX 3.0 by School of Human Resource Management
HR Alumni Committee, School of Human Resource Management is organising LeadX on 31st Oct 2026 which features Mr. Sanjiv Nayak, Human Resource Professional, TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited.
LeadX is an offline knowledge-sharing initiative organised by the HR Alumni Committee at XIM University to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practices. The initiative brings HR alumni back to campus to interact with students and share their professional experiences, industry insights, and perspectives on emerging HR trends. Through interactive sessions, LeadX provides students with an opportunity to learn directly from professionals who have transitioned from the classroom to the corporate world.
The primary objective of LeadX is to make learning more practical, relevant, and industry-oriented. While academic courses provide students with a strong foundation in HR concepts and theories, interactions with alumni help them understand how these concepts translate into real workplace situations. The sessions cover diverse HR domains, contemporary industry trends, evolving workplace practices, and the challenges HR professionals encounter in their careers. They also expose students to the skills, competencies, and mindsets required to navigate the changing HR landscape.
A key aspect of LeadX is its emphasis on experiential learning and open dialogue. Rather than limiting learning to conventional classroom discussions, the initiative creates a platform where students can engage with experienced professionals, ask questions, exchange ideas, and gain insights from real-life organisational experiences. These interactions help students develop a clearer understanding of corporate expectations, explore different HR career paths, and connect their academic knowledge with practical applications. The initiative also strengthens the relationship between the alumni network and the university, encouraging continuous knowledge exchange and professional engagement.
Through these sessions, LeadX continues to create meaningful opportunities for students to learn from alumni with diverse professional backgrounds and areas of expertise. Ultimately, LeadX is more than a series of guest sessions; it is a platform for connecting academic knowledge with industry experience, encouraging professional development, and preparing future HR professionals for the realities of the corporate world. By bringing industry perspectives into the classroom, the initiative reinforces the importance of continuous learning, practical exposure, and a strong alumni-student connection.
