XYVARA 2026-The literary Fest by Dept. of English
Xlibris, Literary Club of the Department of English, school of Liberal Arts, XIM University is organising its flagship event, The literary Fest “XYVARA” from 8 – 9 October 2026. XYVARA 2026: Vedic to Mughal – The Art Reimagined is a celebration of India’s rich and diverse cultural heritage, tracing the evolution of art, literature, traditions, and creative expression from the Vedic era to the Mughal period.
The theme explores the diverse cultural influences that shaped the Indian subcontinent, encompassing the Dravidian traditions, ancient civilizations, and the various dynasties and ruling powers that contributed to India’s artistic and intellectual legacy. From ancient scriptures and indigenous art forms to the grandeur of medieval courts, XYVARA reflects the dynamic interplay of history, culture, creativity, and imagination.
Through its vibrant exploration of architectural marvels, classical traditions, literature, and artistic legacies, XYVARA invites participants to look at India’s past through a contemporary creative lens. The fest seeks to transform historical memory into an engaging experience where heritage is not merely preserved but creatively reinterpreted.
