Smart City project gets five independent directors: The appointment of a panel of independent directors has given the Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited (BSCL) domain experts to advise the new company on execution of the ambitious project. The BSCL already has eight board members and with the appointment of the independent directors, the special purpose vehicle is now fully formed. The state government on Monday appointed the five independent directors to BSCL — Madhav Pai, Saveeta Mohanty, Aamer Azeemi, Sandipan Chakravortty and Bhavin Sheth.
